Split air conditioning systems
Split air conditioning systems are the most common form of installed commercial air conditioning system and comprise of an installed indoor unit which is usually wall, ceiling or floor mounted.
Split air conditioning systems work by constantly circulating the air in a room cooling and heating it as required. The system works by linking to an external condenser which removes the heat from the room to provide the cooling action - working in reverse it draws heat from the condenser and transfers it to the internal unit.
Multi-split air conditioning
Working in a similar way to the split system, the "Multi-split" system enables a number of indoor units to be controlled individually from a single outdoor condenser.
Up to four units can be operated in cooling only or heat only form.
"Multi-split" systems offer an ideal way to treat a number of areas whilst minimizing the space required for outdoor units.
VRF Systems
Variable Refrigerant Flow systems are the most modern variant of the "split" commercial air conditioning systems.
It is possible to connect up to sixteen indoor units which can then be connected to a single large outdoor condenser. The outdoor condenser is specifically constructed to respond to the number of indoor units operating, each being controlled for heat or cooling purposes.
The VRF Systems offer excellent levels of flexibility, individual indoor unit temperature can be changed independently, allowing personal choice as indoor and outdoor conditions change.
The VRF system offers a year round solution to indoor climate control with unrivalled performance and energy efficiency.
